Un alma a punto de tomar la decisión más importante de sus vidas. Pero nacer en aquella roja jungla requerirá de mucho valor.
Basado en hechos reales, “Rojo Jungla” cuenta la historia de Richard, un inglés que en los años ‘60 asiste a un internado en las afueras de Londres. Donde su uniforme escolar de corbata roja, camisa blanca y pantalón corto gris, se vuelve algo muy pesado de llevar incluso hasta el día de hoy, en el que se ha convertido en un exitoso hombre de negocios.
Pasado, presente y futuro se mezclarán en "Rojo Jungla", porque el tiempo no existe cuando se trata del alma. Solo ella es capaz de tener la valentía de atravesar el Universo entero para sanar y encontrarse en un abrazo atemporal que lo perdone todo.

Based on true events, “Jungle Red” tells the story of Richard, a Brit who attends a boarding school on the outskirts of London during the ‘60s. His old school uniform: red tie, white shirt and gray shorts, is still too heavy to wear today, when he’s become a successful businessman.
Past, present and future are mixed in “Jungle Red”, because time doesn’t exist when it comes to the soul. Only she can possess the courage to cross the entire universe in order to heal and find herself in a timeless embrace that forgives everything.
LA HISTORIA DE ROJO JUNGLA / THE STORY OF JUNGLE RED
Siempre me gustó conversar con gente de otros países para conocer distintas culturas e historias de vida. En el año 2011 me encontraba realizando intercambios de idioma online a través de una página web. Allí conocí a Richard, un británico que me ayudaría a practicar inglés y, en retribución, yo lo ayudaría con el español. Así, poco a poco, se fue gestando una amistad entre nosotros que dio pie para que un día Richard me contara una anécdota de su infancia…
Durante los ´60, él asistía a un colegio internado en Inglaterra, donde sufría bullying por parte de sus compañeros, por ser diferente a la mayoría de ellos.
Una manera con la que Richard encontró una salida de tales abusos, fue fantasear. En su imaginación podía vengarse y burlarse también de sus abusadores, aquellos que usaban el aburrido uniforme escolar de camisa, pantalón corto y corbata.
Una de esas fantasías fue la que me inspiró a comenzar la escritura de este libro en 2013.
Ese mismo año Richard viajó a la Argentina por trabajo y afortunadamente, nos encontramos en la ciudad de La Plata, donde yo vivía en ese momento. A partir de allí comenzó un trabajo que incluiría la recopilación de información, fotografías, boletines escolares, más anécdotas de Richard en su paso por el colegio, y que duraría casi tres años. Movilizado por esta historia que ya formaba parte de mi vida, en 2016 decidí viajar a Inglaterra junto con mi novia Ana Luz, y conocer por fin aquella escuela donde todo había sucedido. Llegar allí, poder ver, sentir, y recorrer aquel edificio junto a Richard fue una experiencia que me atravesó por completo.
Un año más tarde, Rojo Jungla salió a la luz. Además de contener escenas verídicas de la vida de Richard, este libro también se nutrió de situaciones ficticias o parcialmente modificadas en virtud de la protección de la privacidad de sus protagonistas. Espero lo disfruten, tanto como yo lo hice al escribirlo.
I always liked to talk to people from other countries, to get to know different cultures and life stories. In 2011 I was doing online language exchanges on a website. There, I met Richard, a Brit who would help me practice my English and in return, I helped him with his Spanish. Little by little a friendship developed between us that gave way to one day Richard telling me an anecdote of his childhood...
During the '60s, he attended a boarding school in England where as he was different from most his classmates, he suffered bullying from them.
One way in which Richard found a way out of such abuses was to fantasize. In his imagination he could also take revenge and make fun of his abusers, those who wore the boring school uniform of shirt, shorts and tie. It was one of those fantasies that inspired me to begin writing this book in 2013.
That same year, Richard travelled to Argentina for work and fortunately, we met in the city of La Plata, where I lived at that time. There I began this work which included collecting information, photographs, school bulletins, more of Richard anecdotes about his journey through school. This would last almost three years. Mobilized by this story that was already part of my life, in 2016 I decided to travel to England together with my girlfriend Ana Luz, and finally visited the school where everything had happened. Arriving there I was able to see, feel and walk around that building with Richard which was an experience that completely overcame me.
A year later, Jungle Red came into the spotlight. In addition to containing true scenes of Richard's life, this book was also nurtured fictitious or partially modified situations by virtue of protecting the privacy of its protagonists. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.
Alejandro es un storyteller argentino, que dedicó su vida a la búsqueda del espíritu humano. Trabajó como guionista en series de Tv como "El Payaso Plim Plim un héroe del corazón" (Disney Junior, Discovery Familia, Netflix), ganando el premio Martín Fierro en 2012, "Las mágicas historias de Plim Plim" (Disney Junior, Netflix), "Junior Express" (Disney Junior), y también trabajó como fotoperiodista para la agencia AFKA, mientras viajaba por Sudamérica, publicando su trabajo en los principales diarios de Bolivia. Hoy se desesmpeña en publicidad y diversos proyectos de animación como Co-Director Ejecutivo, Productor y Guionista en Mr. Bug Studio.
Alejandro is an argentinian storyteller, who dedicated his life to the search of human spirit. He worked as screenwriter in Tv Series like “Plim Plim the clown, a hero of the heart” (Disney Junior, Discovery Family, Netflix.), winning the Martín Fierro Award in 2012, “The magical stories of Plim Plim” (Disney Junior, Netflix.), “Junior Express” (Disney Junior), and he also worked as a photojournalist for “AFKA Agency” while he traveled across South America, publishing his work in the main newspapers of Bolivia. Today he is working in advertising and in several animation projects as Co-Executive Director, Producer and Screenwriter in Mr. Bug Studio.
